Dorset firm Liz Lean PR celebrates 20 years

Sandbanks-based public relations and marketing communications agency Liz Lean PR is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and is pleased to announce recent new client wins and team expansion.

Since 1998 Liz Lean PR has served clients in a variety of industry sectors, with competencies in lifestyle, tourism, retail, health, care, property development, local government and professional services. The agency has successfully assisted more than 155 large organisations, not-for-profit businesses, educational institutions, and small to medium businesses with public relations, strategic planning, marketing, crisis management, social media, corporate social responsibility projects and event management services.

The first half of its 20th year has got off to a successful start, with the agency being awarded contracts with brewery and local pub operator Hall & Woodhouse, Kingfisher Resorts, Gervis Meyrick Estate, the Dorset County Show, the Waterside Holiday Group, Fairmile Grange which is operated by Encore Care Homes and Poole BID. As a result of its work with Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital, the agency has also expanded its contract with Nuffield Health to win work with its hospitals in Brighton, Haywards Heath and Chichester.

To support recent client gains, the team has strengthened with the appointment of Ian Murray and Emma Coakley as consultants.  After almost two decades heading up the news team at the Southern Daily Echo, Ian is utilising his unrivalled communication skills to support the in-house Liz Lean PR team with client projects including cruise line brand Royal Caribbean International. With extensive PR experience, Emma has strong expertise with public affairs, stakeholder engagement and corporate reputation projects.

Liz Willingham, managing director at Liz Lean PR, says: “Flexibility has been a key part of our success.  I'm very grateful to the clients that have partnered with us over the years. Each day, our goal is to exceed our clients’ PR and marketing expectations. Every single one of our clients considers us an extension of their own teams and a key component to the success of their businesses.”

Liz adds: “My name may be on the door, but it’s the team that really makes Liz Lean PR thrive. The whole team contributes and everyone has a tremendous amount of accountability. The work environment we have brings out the best in people and allows us to do excellent work for our clients.

“We have had the privilege of working with some amazing businesses and people over the last two decades and our recent client wins are testament to the fact that we strive to achieve the very best results, delivering a first-class service. I am also proud of what we’ve all achieved here over the past two decades.”
