(Pronounced chi-gung) is a system of gentle, meditative exercises that develop flexibility, muscle tone and support general well-being.
Qigong is usually performed as a set of exercises, each working on a different part of the body. The exercises involve slow, graceful movement and a gentle stretch. The qigong set that we will be using in this taster session is called Baduanjin, the Eight Treasures, one of the most popular forms of qigong.
Qigong can be used as a mindful exercise and can help with stress, anxiety, and depression. It is suitable for all ages, and even children can join in.
This session starts at 5pm. To book your place, please visit: https://whitchurchsilkmill.org.uk/event/free-taster-session-qigong/.
