2 for 1 OFFER - Winchester gets the rare treatment!

After the success of last year, The Rare Brand Market is delighted to return to Winchester’s Guildhall on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th November.

So, what is rare? Wikipedia describes it as “not widely known and valued for their uncommonness”. The Rare Brand Market curates a wide range of rare brands across clothing, food, drink, jewellery, beauty, toys and gadgets, lifestyle and homeware. Sometimes a brand may have great awareness in London but be considered rare in other areas of the country, other times it is an emerging, local brand giving you the opportunity to find unique gifts for you or your loved ones. The Rare Brand Market focuses on emerging brands, brands that are likely to have been created in the last 1 to 3 years. Over 85 brands will be on offer over just 2 days at Winchester’s Guildhall; come and meet the founders and hear first-hand the passion for their work.

Following feedback from customers, this pop-up Christmas market, now the largest on the South coast, will be open on the first date for extended hours so you can pop in after work. We put the fun back into shopping. Come out of the cold and shop comfortably inside the magnificent late 19th century Guildhall, situated in the heart of Winchester. Why not fix a date with friends and after shopping at The Rare Brand Market enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants on offer in the beautiful city of Winchester. And of course, closer still, refreshments are also available on site at the Guildhall’s Café Eighteen71.

Admission price is £10 or, with a friend, present this article on the door and take advantage of our 2 for 1 offer. The Rare Brand Market likes to give back so we are thrilled to announce that we are working in conjunction with The Murray Parish Trust and Breast Cancer Haven, Wessex which will share a proportion of ticket revenue.

Sarah Woods, Breast Cancer Haven Corporate Fundraising Officer said, “We are thrilled that The Rare Brand Market has selected Breast Cancer Haven to support for the year. We look forward to working in partnership with them to not only raise vital funds but also raise awareness with their retailers and customers as many may know someone who has been affected by the disease. Breast Cancer Haven is a charity, offering free emotional support; help with symptom control and practical advice to anyone affected by breast cancer from its network of centres in the UK. Everyone is welcomed; whether recently diagnosed, in treatment, or seeking help to lead a healthy life after their treatment has finished. The Wessex centre, based in Titchfield, supports anyone from the South Coast and relies on community fundraising and corporate support to fund each visitor's individualised programme of supportive therapies."

Actors, parents and founders of The Murray Parish Trust, Sarah Parish and James Murray said "We're absolutely delighted that The Rare Brand Market have chosen to support The Murray Parish Trust. Giving back is a really important part of the company's ethos, and our partnership will bring us closer still to achieving our own goal of funding a state of the art new Childrens Emergency Department at University Hospital Southampton, serving much of the South of England".
