The Whitchurch Silk Mill are pleased to welcome the team from Basingstoke Festival on Sunday 30th June. This is a free annual outdoor arts festival celebrating arts, heritage, culture, community, and place. This year they are welcoming the TIME TRAVELLERS’ TRAIL by Sarah Thomas-Lane, a Time Traveller, who is inviting you to become an honorary member of her secret society, and to navigate through the twists and turns of time, and help safeguard our future. Don’t let time stand still, join the revolution today!
Performances start at 11.30am and 2pm, there is no need to book and the performance takes place in the grounds, so please wear clothing appropriate for the weather.
The mill is also glad to show TEABREAK, a heart-warming new show from Trigger, the creators of PoliNations. As you stir your cup, you’ll gently glide through the journey of tea with a transportive audio piece and live dance performance. Follow tea across continents and centuries, onto our shores and into our teapots as the great comforter of our time. This performance is free, but places must be booked in advance as the performance is played through headphones. See details about how to book below.
The activities at the Mill are part of Basingstoke Festival’s FREE programme of activities.
