The Big Eat Festival

From 8th - 10th September the Royal Victoria Country park in Netley in Southampton, is set to be filled with street food vendors and entertainers from across the south in a celebration of local food and talent with all the profits being donated to local food banks.

The free-to-attend festival will host a huge variety of street food vendors including last year’s Overall Winner, ‘Down D Islands’, winner of Hampshire’s Best Pizza 2022 ‘Arty-Stan’ and Fan Favourite 2022 ‘Tuk Inn’.

The family friendly event will have a huge range of entertainment for all ages spanning across the weekend - including fun fair rides, live music throughout the day, a silent disco plus live late night comedy into the evening.

Other attractions include a Mind, Body and Spirit ‘healing tent’ containing over 30 vendors, demonstrations from historical reconstructors ‘Deeds of Arms’, a Junior Street Food Competition, and a 1k Treadmill Challenge with Hamble Sports Centre.

All street food vendors at the festival will be entered into award categories including Hampshire’s Best Pizza, Hampshire’s Best Dessert, Best Vegan Cuisine, Best BBQ Food and many more.

The festival runs from 4pm until 10pm on Friday 8th September, 10am until 10pm on Saturday 9th, and 10am to 6pm on Sunday 10th. Those parking on site can get a reduced price of £5 all day when using the discount code obtained at the festival.
