Free Entry at Raby Castle

  • Country Child Ltd UK (map)

Following on from the coronation of King Charles III, Raby Castle will be continuing the celebrations this May half term, with free entry to the castle for children and two new trails for families to enjoy.

Within the castle walls, children will set off on Raby’s Royal Quest, perfect to entertain and educate as families learn more about Raby’s links with the Royal Family. From the Butler's Pantry to the library, visitors will find answers to questions about these historic rooms as they venture around the medieval fortress.

The fun continues in the great outdoors at The Plotters’ Forest, which is woven through the forest at Raby’s magical Christmas tree plantation. The adventure playground is currently home to a new Royal Celebration Trail. Children can help find the coronation items scattered throughout the forest full of interactive games, tunnels, slides, walkways and towers to discover.

Over at High Force Waterfall, which is part of the Raby Estate, a new trail with a tea party theme continues the coronation celebrations. A series of clues will be waiting for discovery by intrepid adventurers along the waterfall’s scenic circular walk.

Children can visit Raby Castle for free this May half term with a valid Plotters’ Forest and Deer Park ticket. The popular offer is available throughout May and June.
