Seven artists, four generations
The work of seven artists, some 70 works spanning four generations of the same family, the latest exhibition at Lighthouse Poole is a testament to the hereditary power of creativity.
Family Lines begins with the drawings of Rita Senior, a draughtswoman in the aeronautical industry and mother of five who returned to full-time education at Oxford University in the 1960s at the age of 40. Her daughters, printmaker Sally Winter and painter Clare Rose are both working artists, as are Sally’s sons Ben and Tom and their children, painter Sam and printmaker Millie.
