Borde Hill Garden, the Grade II* listed garden set within 383 acres of heritage parkland and renowned as a Plant Hunter’s Paradise, will reopen for a new season on the 11th February. Members are invited to visit a day early, on 10th February, to enjoy an invigorating walk through the tranquil Garden and Parkland before it officially opens the following day.

As ever, there are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy at Borde Hill. From 11th February to 26th March and during February Half Term, The Enchanted Garden kid’s trail will be open. Children can followthe story of Piccolo, the smallest pixie in the Fairy Garden who needs to earn his wings by passing a series of challenges. During the trail, children will stop to make a wish on the Wishing Chair and take a photo in front of giant fairy wings. The trail is suitable for children aged 3 to 8 years old and costs £4.00 per child, plus Garden entry, and is free to Members. Book in advance to save on admission. Families can also visit the Adventure Playground which is located within the Garden and included in the admission price.

2023 sees Borde Hill celebrate 130 years since visionary plantsman and owner Colonel Stephenson Robert Clarke first created the magnificent collection of rare trees and flowering shrubs across the Estate. Collected from explorations around the world, the nationally important collection of exotic plants and champion trees continue to represent the very best in British gardening.
