BOURNEMOUTH FIREWORKS

  • Country Child Ltd UK (map)

Bournemouth Fireworks, the area's biggest and best-loved fireworks party, is also one of its most eco-friendly with steps being taken to make sure this year's event at the Littledown Centre on Saturday 4 November is carbon neutral.

The night's three displays are delivered by Britain's longest established fireworks display company, Pains. They partner with the Just One Tree not-for-profit organisation that funds forest restoration projects all over the world. Using EnvCalc, a tool designed specifically for the fireworks industry, they calculate the amount of CO2 produced by Bournemouth Fireworks and make a donation to enable new trees to be planted that offset the carbon produced.

As in previous years, Bournemouth Fireworks offers three displays for the price of one with fireworks at 7pm, 8pm and the famous White Knuckle at 9pm - the latest and loudest fireworks display in the south. New attractions for this year feature a programme of amazing fire performers before the 7pm and 8pm displays and an all-new live music arena.

Gates open at 5.30pm with collection baskets by all entrances.
