Join Mouse for a musical adaptation of the children’s favourite The Gruffalo at Theatre Royal Winchester this June.
Julia Donaldson’s beloved The Gruffalo tells the story of Mouse who goes on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood searching for hazelnuts. On his way he meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the high-spirited Snake who talk of the terrifying Gruffalo. Will their tales save Mouse from ending up as the hungry creature’s dinner?
This magical production is brought to the stage by the internationally acclaimed Tall Stories – the same theatre company behind productions of the author’s famous Room on the Broom and The Smeds and The Smoos.
With catchy songs, comedy and fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups, this is a show that has delighted families around Britain and the world since it premiered in 2001.
The award-winning The Gruffalo picture book has sold over 13.5 million copies worldwide and been translated in to over 57 languages.
The Gruffalo will be at Theatre Royal Winchester from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 June. For more information or to book tickets visit theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
