Jubilee Joy

  • Country Child Ltd UK (map)

The Army Flying Museum holds an extensive collection charting over 100 years of the British Army in the air. With over 35 aircraft on display, the Museum is the perfect place to explore the fascinating history of army aviation. Spring Half Term brings ‘Jubilee Joy' to the Army Flying Museum. Young visitors will be given the opportunity to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee by decorating a beautiful crown with feathers, stickers, ribbons, and all things sparkly. Those that want to wear their crown can use a special selfie frame to create a memento to mark the occasion. There will also be the chance to create a picture of Queen Elizabeth II to commemorate this Platinum Jubilee anniversary. Craft activities run from Monday 3rd May to Friday 3rd June between 10.30am and 1.30pm. Visitors can get their faces painted on Wednesday 1st June between 10.30am and 1.30pm and there'll be a Queen Elizabeth II themed photo trail around the Museum throughout the week. Complete the trail to receive a Platinum Jubilee reward sticker. No additional charges apply. https://armyflying.com/what-s-on/events/jubilee-joy/
