Is That A Bolt In Your Neck?

  • Country Child Ltd UK (map)

Audiences of all ages will enjoy this thoroughly inventive comedy horror, Is That A Bolt In Your Neck? which comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Wednesday 19 October.

Inspired by the gothic horror movies of the 1930s, it tells the story of a brilliant but reclusive scientist, Dr Chekhov, who works in secret in his castle over a small mountain village. Strange shadows are seen at his windows and blood curdling cries of pain can be heard and the villagers are scared and they wonder what hideous experiments Dr Chekhov is doing and what horror might emerge from his laboratory.

Brought to the stage by Gonzo Moose Comedy Theatre – who have been blending visual comedy with dramatic storytelling and physical theatre since 2000, Is That A Bolt In Your Neck? is packed with hilarious slapstick, verbal wit and magical illusion. Three fearless actors play over 20 roles in this fast-paced show, combining spooky paranoia, surreal nightmare and frantic farce – and audiences will be amazed at the experiments and sensational death-defying finale.

Plus, Is That A Bolt In Your Neck has a Pick A Price option, meaning audiences can pick the price that makes the show most affordable for them.
