This December and throughout the Christmas season, The Story Museum’s Christmas show is back and pulling out all the stops after being postponed last Christmas due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“Suddenly A Star” is a magical amalgamation of traditional tales which feature cunning mice and clever grandparents, dancing donkeys and warm wishes. The story revolves around a son who unexpectedly moves back with his mother. To cope with their new situation, both mother and son begin to share Christmas tales.
Written and performed by award-winning writer Renata Allen and songwriter and musician David Gibb, “Suddenly A Star” aims to strike a chord with families reuniting once again this Christmas. The show is suitable for ages 5+ and above.
Packed with gentle hearted humour, and warm fuzzy feelings of Christmas, the show blends tales and original songs to portray a hopeful yet important message; that is, everyone has the ability to shine their own light, in their own way.
