St. George’s Day Treasure Hunt!

  • Country Child Ltd UK (map)

To celebrate St. George’s Day this year, the City Council invites you to take part in a fantastic treasure hunt taking place from 1st until 30th April in the City.

Providing fun for all of the family, the treasure hunt will give you the opportunity to explore the centre of Salisbury and seek out the 9 shields that St. George has used whilst fighting the dragon.

How to play the Treasure Hunt:

Each shield will contain a clue which you will need to decipher, that will then direct you to the location of the next shield, and eventually to the “hidden treasure”. At each location you will also find a letter, make a note of it on the blank shield on the reverse of the flyer. Collect a flyer (that also has your first clue) from Shopmobility or simply download and print your copy on the Salisbury City Council website and use the key code on the back to decipher the code you will find on the shield. Then, once you have found the treasure chest at the end, spell out the name of the lost treasure using the letters.

How to collect your reward:

Once you know what your treasure is, fill out the flyer and take it to the Information Centre (when it opens on 12 April) or Shopmobility before Friday 7 May to claim your reward!
