Theatre Royal, Winchester have Easter treats in store from Playmakers’ Youth Theatre.

The younger members of Youth Theatre – the Musical Theatre and Theatre 5-8 and 9-11 year olds – are performing Disney’s Aladdin JR – based on the 1992 Academy-Award-winning film and the 2014 Broadway and West End show about the street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

In addition to this, A Tree Called Aesop – a play written by, and gifted to Youth Theatre, by author Ruth Landowne-Giordano – about three students who do not know Aesop’s morality stories, leading to Aesop et al acting out these famous tales, and important life lessons, via jokes, poems and stories.
