10 weeks - this course will run again in Sept 19 Life drawing has long been considered a fundamental part of training as an artist. It is also challenging, absorbing and at WHSoA you can choose from termly, guided or ‘light touch’ courses to suit all levels, as well as monthly long-pose workshops, allowing you ample time to really work on capturing the human form in your chosen medium. Our Director and Lead Tutor Daisy Rogers will lead the sessions, where you are welcome to bring your own materials, but charcoal and paper will be provided should you wish to use it. We will start most sessions with short pose exercises, designed to warm you up and gently challenge the way you approach drawing the model, before moving onto longer poses. Numbers are limited to 6, allowing for an intimate and relaxed atmosphere and one-to-one tuition. For Summer 2019, we will be combining the life drawing & portraiture courses into one, as there is a lot of cross-over, allowing you to master the face as well as the figure. COMING SOON: Monthly Saturday workshops - unguided, long pose - 10am-3pm: £45
