The Den – Kid’s Area

The Den is Smoked & Uncut’s dedicated space for the littlest of festi-fans! Expect bags of fun in the sun, with arts and crafts, storytelling, nature-inspired activities and t-shirt designing – all included in the ticket price.

This year the site have partnered with local nurseries and schools to create this nurturing and safe environment for your little party people, whose teams will be keeping them busy with loads of boredom-bursting experiences. All kidiwinks will need a responsible adult (18+) watching over them whilst they are in The Den.

If your little ones want to add a little sparkle and shine, there will also be a glitter artist and hair braider in The Den, charged at an additional fee.

There will be a QR code for PayPal donations for the amazing schools and nurseries that are supporting the day.

All activities within the kid’s area are included in the ticket price and are available from midday until 6:30pm at each festival. Please note that a responsible adult 18+ must supervise children at all times (one adult for up to three children) whilst in the area.

Jools Holland needs no introduction.  Jools with his 19-piece Rhythm & Blues Orchestra has maintained a prolific recording career since signing to Warner Music in 1996.  Jools has worked with most of music's greatest legends including Sir Tom Jones, Sting, Eric Clapton, Kylie Minogue and Bono.

Al McKay, the former Earth, Wind & Fire guitarist teamed with group founder Maurice White to pen the band's seminal hits, September and Sing A Song, Al McKay has played with the likes of Ike & Tina Turner and Sammy Davis Jnr.  Further classics include Heed The Message, Try Meditation and Love is the Calling.

Festi-food

Food stalls at the festivals are another great lure offering a seriously tasty selection of options from classic burgers to stone-baked pizza; a PIG BBQ to hot veggie and vegan bites.  Of course these mouth-watering dishes need washing down with something special - party people fear not.  There's the Chase Distillery Horsebox for all G&T needs, cocktails from Fever-TreeShepherd Neame's Beer Bar or Hambledon's double-decker bus with their quaffable Hampshire fizz.
