The Grange Festival
If you have never been to The Grange Festival you may well have missed one of the highlights of the Hampshire summer. The stunning neoclassical buildings, resembling Grecian temples, come to life in June and July and conceal the award winning 600 seat theatre as well as the Festival restaurant, shop and art gallery.
This year there are three world class operas and two evenings of dance devised by our Director of Dance Wayne McGregor (with world’s most esteemed artists involved, such as prima ballerina absoluta Alessandra Ferri and Cassa Pancho’s Ballet Black). Expect the best – Mozart’s timeless social comedy Le Nozze di Figaro, Verdi’s comic masterpiece Falstaff, the high biblical drama of Handel’s Belshazzar and, for one night only, the golden age of Hollywood and Broadway with the John Wilson Orchestra. This season you will have a unique chance to see a World Premier of Mthuthuzeli November’s Washa: The Burn From The Inside alongside Cathy Marston’s The Suit.
