Within today’s society, it is imperative that both fun and education be placed together wherever possible…
As children who associate knowledge with having fun are much more likely to absorb what they are being taught. Paultons Park, located near Romsey in Hampshire, have succeeded in doing just that…
The UK’s number one family theme park has secured a coveted silver award in the Best Schools Programme category during this year’s British Youth Travel Awards. The British Youth Travel Awards (BYTA) programme, now in its 12th year, aims to raise the profile of high achieving organisations engaged in youth, student and educational travel.
Professor Blast’s Learning Lab at Paultons Park is the UK’s first dedicated theme park interactive education facility, offering over sixteen curriculum-based workshops created and led by qualified teachers, covering forces, programming, biology and business studies.
All learning opportunities, which are linked to the rides and attractions in the Park are hands-on and open to all students, regardless of ability, from Key Stages 1 to 4. Students can discover and learn about fascinating aspects of the Paultons Park experience, such as animal habitats of the world, the science behind roller coasters, and insights into the business of running one of the UK’s most successful theme parks.
School prices start from just £8 per pupil. Education professionals can also apply for free teacher tickets to enable them to experience the range of classroom and learning facilities at Paultons Park.
